How to join the team

Requirements to join:

You must be a girl in grades 9-12, attending an Oakland public school or attending a private Oakland high school and living in Oakland.

  • Fees for this comprehensive 4 day/week program are $270 for the year, and can be paid 1) in full, 2) per semester ($135 in Sep and Feb), or 3) per month ($30 each month).  There are grants available for families who may need them, with the minimum required fee of $75 per semester.

  • You should be able to attend practice 4 days per week after school at the JLAC boathouse, Mon through Thur.

  • You must be willing to learn a fun new sport and make new friends!

  • You must send in the registration and medical forms listed below.
